How to: A Guide to Getting the Most of Your Membership

Whether you are a brand-new member of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, or if you’ve been a member for over 20 years, there are many ways for you to gain the most benefit from your Chamber membership.

1. Networking – The Chamber provides over 125 networking opportunities each year so you can meet new prospects. Download a networking event information sheet.

2. Referrals – Every day, Chamber staff refer customers to member businesses. Help customers find you by updating your information in the Chamber’s business directory regularly.

3. Advertising – For as little as $50, your business can advertise your products and services to the Chamber’s 4,000 member representatives. The Chamber also mails to over 100,000 tourists and relocaters from across the country each year. It’s exposure you can’t get anywhere else. Learn more about advertising opportunities.

4. Credibility – Consumers trust Chamber members. That’s why we field thousands of calls and emails each year from customers seeking recommendations on dentists, realtors, restaurants and hair stylists, to name a few.

5. One-stop information source – The Chamber provides valuable information on the community and the business environment through our newsletters, weekly email updates, and website, not to mention accurate, up-to-date demographic and economic data provided on request.

6. Government representation – Government leaders at all levels need to hear the voice of business. The Chamber’s Government Relations Division builds relationships with local leaders to promote business-friendly measures that will help our community.

7. Support your Chamber and community – Your membership offers many avenues for community involvement that will help your business grow. Get involved by joining a Chamber committee or volunteer to help with a special event. You will meet new people and make your business known.
