The Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to hold another of the 100 Hiring our Heroes job fair in conjunction with the annual  2011 Fall NWA Media Job Fair presented by WorkSource NTS on Monday, Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to  4 p.m. at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers.  The Fall Job Fair is the largest and longest running job fair in Arkansas and features the popular “Job Seekers Lounge,” complete with computers providing job seekers easy access to online applications.

The US Chamber’s “Hiring Our Heroes” program is a year-long nationwide effort to help veterans and their spouses find meaningful employment. The program focuses on making a difference in local communities where veterans and their families are returning every day. Through these special job fairs, the public and private sector can coordinate to help veterans and military spouses connect with employers.

Not only is the 2011 Fall Job Fair a great opportunity for businesses to help returning veterans, but also to get a jump start on hiring for both their holidays openings, as well as full-time employment opportunities. The fall job fair is free and open for all job-seekers in the northwest Arkansas area.
